IET Core Value Award - Team Category 2021
The IET Core Value Award in the Team Category, typically organized by the esteemed Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) in the United Kingdom. In 2021, the IET Young Professional Sri Lanka Network, proudly received this prestigious award from the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) in the UK. Despite the challenges posed by COVID-19, we demonstrated exemplary teamwork and resilience. Our efforts encompassed a wide range of activities including online talks, award ceremonies, competitions, and the establishment of a special award dedicated to young women engineers in 2021, all amid the pandemic.
Throughout this period of adversity, we remained steadfast and devised innovative strategies to sustain our endeavors. Our collaborative spirit transcended mere accolades; it fostered a supportive environment and upheld the connectivity of the engineering community. Our recognition by the IET in 2021 not only honored our local achievements but also showcased to the global audience the transformative power of teamwork and dedication.
